NEW BELTS FOR 21 KARATE STUDENTS

Twenty-one martial artists from RMA Karate Centres were presented with their new rank at a traditional ceremony
on Friday December 11^th.  The students ranging in age from 3 years to adult provided family and friends with special
performances prior to being presented with their new rank from head instructor Craig Ridout.

The special performances included a re-enactment of student Samantha M winning her bronze medal in sparring at the
world karate championships last month in Ireland.

Receiving their intermediate new ranks were Justin M and Aidan S to white belt with yellow stripe, Joshy V to white belt
with orange stripe and Devin S to half white and half yellow belt.

Receiving the rank of yellow belt were Maddy C, Robbie L, Mary-Martha B, Kyle B, Steve B and Sean O.

Receiving the rank of orange belt were Logan H, Liam H, Wyatt S, Shannelle B and William M.

Receiving the rank of green belt were Jacob M and Andrew L.  Receiving the rank of blue belt were Tyler M-Z and
Rachel P, purple belt promotion was presented to Jessica C and the new rank of brown belt was presented to Samantha M.
