YOUTH KARATE ACHIEVERS

Students from RMA Karate Centres in Barrie participated in the Power Nationals in London this past weekend (17th July).
They had great success coming home with many awards.

15-year-old black belt Tressa Young lead the RMA pack placing first in every division she participated in.  Following close
behind was blue belt Tyler M-Z winning 2 first place trophies and one second.v

Blue belt Jacob G won a first and third place trophy, Green belt Brooke Z won 2 fourth place and 1 fifth place trophy and
6 year old yellow belt Ella Z won 3 fifth place trophies.

12-year-old brown belt Samantha M won 1 fourth place trophy and was a finalist in 3 other divisions.

Green belt Alysha S-P continues to improve her competition skills placing fifth in three divisions.   Her younger brother yellow
belt Keegan S-P also gave a solid performance placing fifth in every division he participated in.

Tress, Samantha, Jacob, Tyler and Brooke continue to prepare for their upcoming world karate championships in Portugal as
part of the 2010 WKC Canadian National Karate Team.  As part of a fundraiser the Canadian team members will be giving
all martial artists in the area a chance to train with them on July 29th for a small fee of only $5.  For more information call
