RMA Karate Centres had a very busy
and successful weekend starting on Friday
(June 11) when 17 karate students
were presented with their new belt
rank. The students ranging in age
from 3 years to adult received their new
belts after
undergoing a tough testing the previous
month. Receiving the rank of white
belt with yellow stripe was Charles L,
half
white and half yellow belt were Liam N
and Alex B. Receiving their yellow belt
were Brendan M, Meadow S, Asher A,
Karina D, Peter R and Jean-Guy L.
Receiving their orange belt were Steve B,
Kyle B and Keegan S-P and to red belt
were Madison V, Wyatt S, Braydon M,
William M and David V.
Also this weekend on Saturday (June 12)
the karate club held their annual
in-house competition where they had 70
martial
artists showing their stuff. The
in-house competition also attracted
karate kids from out of town traveling
from Toronto,
Brampton, Georgetown and Midland.
RMA Karate Centres teaches martial arts
to ages three years and up and is
currently accepting registration.
