RMA STUDENTS FIND
SUCCESS
RMA Karate competitors made a
fantastic showing at the Crispin Super
Shi-Ai in Georgetown on May 30th.
The
RMA Karate dojo had 4 students
participate in the large event and
brought home 13 trophies.
Proving that karate is for all ages, 6
year old yellow belt Ella Z did an
amazing job placing fourth in weapons,
fifth
in kata, fifth in sparring and fifth in
self-defense. 10 year old sister
Brooke Z, a 2010 WKC Canadian national
karate team member, also did well placing
first in kata, fifth in weapons and fifth
in sparring.
First time competitors Keegan S-P and
older sister Alysha S-P put on a strong
performance at their first
competition.
Yellow belt Keegan S-P placed fourth in
weapons, fourth in sparring and fifth in
kata. Green belt Alysha S-P placed
fifth in the kata, weapons and sparring
divisions.
All four were faced with tough
competition in large division and did
amazing well. The four set their
sights on the
upcoming RMA Shi-Ai taking place Saturday
June 12th. For more
